My Friend Susie!
For over the past 20 years I have been so blessed to have a friend like Susie St John! And if you know Susie you know just what I'm talking about! She is the kind of friend that makes you feel like you can accomplish anything... tells you exactly what you need to hear...motivates you to be a better person...works hard along side you...is loving and kind and goes out of her way to lift others around her! She looks for opportunities not only to serve and help others, which she is always doing, but she looks for those who are down, lonely, or those who are struggling. I have seen her do this for me, for my children and for others over and over again! She wraps you in her arms and gives you a big squeeze, and you immediately feel loved by her enthusiasm and lifted by her love for life.
My family and I are so blessed to have her in our life.....She is our family photographer, almost every picture I hold dear of my kids was taken by Susie! She was the best walking partner ever! She can laugh as loud as me and when we get going we can not stop! When Kelsi and Ashley were small they loved to sit by Susie because she would play with their hair or scratch their backs...basically give them the attention they deserved that mom could not because she was so busy. I remember being so thankful for the love and attention she gave my kids! She knew I was overwhelmed and would always step in to ease my burden! 20 years later I watch her do the same for my little girls, teaching lily and telling her how smart she is and encouraging Emma telling her she is just Amazing! We just love when Susie visits! We have so much fun going on adventures, talking, and laughing, enjoying God's creations! Just so grateful for our friendship!
This last time she came she brought a little of my mom with her. She did stuff for me that only a mother would do and for someone who is motherless it was such a blessing! Love you very much Susie! Thank you for always being there for me and my family! Can't wait for you to come again!

"For I was an hungred, and ye gave me meat: I was thirsty, and ye gave me drink. I was a stranger, and ye took me in: naked, and ye clothed me: sick, and in prison, and ye visited me. Then shall he answer them, saying, Verily I say unto you, Inasmuch as ye did it to one of the least of these, ye did it not to me." (Matthew 25:42-45)
