Kelsi is engaged!

Kelsi decided to come live at home this semester to save money for a mission....went to the singles ward here in the East American Fork Stake and fell in love! They dated and spent alot of time on our couch...emma has nicknamed it the "cuddle couch" and just simply fell in love! His name is Stephen Swensen, grew up in American Fork, served a mission in Russia, has a drafting degree and a job! He is also working on a degree at UVU in political science and then has plans to attend law school. He plays the piano, sings and is just smitten with Kelsi! We are all very happy for both of them! He took her to the temple yesterday (perfect timing after Elder Scott's talk) and walked her around the temple, with roses waiting on a bench, he got down on one knee and proposed! Of course she said "YES!"
They plan to be sealed in the Mt. Timpanogas Temple on June 30th!

We are so happy for the family and for Kelsi. Good luck with all the planning! I know she will make a beautiful bride. By the way, aren't you too young to be a mother-in-law!! ;)

(I guess there was more than one
reason you moved to Am Fork :)
What a cute couple! So happy for you Jane.

Wooohooo! Way to go Kelsi! We may make another trip out to Utah this summer. We for SURE want to spend some time with you guys if we end up coming. If we can make it work (get to Utah by June 30), would love to be there for Kelsi's special day.

Big smile! I'm excited for all of you. Where in Russia did he serve? I have a son-in-law that served in St. Petersburg. I trust he knows that he has the heartstrings of one of the world's finest? Let him know we Texans will have our eye on him with high expectations!
