Pharisees and Sadducees try to entagle him in tricky questions, but they forget who they are questioning!
Question# 1 By What Authority doest thou these things? and who gave thee this authority?
Jesus' Response- Matt. 21:24-27 and then he gave three parables directed right at the Pharisees. (Parable of the 2 Sons, Parable of the Wicked Husbandmen, and the Parable of the Royal Marriage Feast)
Question #2 Is it lawful to give tribute unto Caesar?

Each time Jesus masterfully confounded their questions, silenced them, and they marvelled at his words, which were obvisously a condemnation upon them.
