One of the requirements for the Faith in God was to teach a Family Home Evening about the 1st Vision. Jackson decided to write a short play(another requirement) depicting Joseph Smith which quickly turned into a FOLLETTCREW PRODUCTION with Jackson directing. Emma helped with costumes, and completely destroyed her attic where all the dress up clothes are kept. Nicholas willingly said he would be Joseph until he found out that Jackson wanted him to go out into the backyard dressed in a puffy pirate shirt! Jackson eventually talked him into it! Kelsi videotaped, Lily and Emma had supporting roles and since Ashley was stuck at gymnastics for the making of the movie, she made the popcorn for our family viewing. Jackson is lucky to have such talented siblings it turned out cute, but nick would die if he knew i put this on the blog so don't tell. Let's just call it karma, mom has to put up with teenage attitudes, teenagers have to put up embarressing things put on the blog from mom!

WOW!!! We are impressed! The whole Salway family gathered around the laptop in Houston at our Hotel to watch the movie. We loved it! Way to go all of you! Make more movies!
We loved it! We won't tell Nick that our family watched it : ). Very cool that Nick is the same age Joseph was.
Great movie! I'm looking forward to more of these wonderful Follett productions. Tell Jackson he's got a wealth of material in the scriptures yet to capture on film!
